A short vignette screened in front of an audience during our Purim Awards Show. This was part of a few different clips to screen in between the live bits on stage.
Behind the Scenes
In the story, Queen Vashti is all about self empowerment and stickin' it to The King (played by me, Pete), who's a complete dick . Alon Hafri, who plays Vashti, absolutely LOVES getting into this character and we decided to create a side story where she's a business entrepreneur who invents products to deter The King from trying to sleep with her: The Vashtity Belt. I wanted to make the style of this commercial based off something you'd see in Always Sunny in Philadelphia...Fast-paced, whacky, and all over the place, kind of like how they did "Kitten Mittens."
