For me and Serena, this was a truly effective way of honoring our family members who are no longer with us and directly involving them in the wedding. In addition to setting up a table with photos, we made sure they were all remembered by having everyone watch this tribute together. For my grandparents, I carefully balanced seriousness and laughter to capture the true essence of who they were in life and their significant impact on our family. In the end, everyone in the room was asked to raise a glass for those in their lives who had also passed away, and in that moment, we all shed that bittersweet tear of love and loss.
