At this point in the series, we had created a whole universe of characters and decided to bring everything together for a grand finale. This video was inspired from a very specific scene from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode, Once More with a Feeling. In that episode the characters are under a spell that makes them uncontrollably break into song and dance at random moments in real life. As far as an edit, this utilized the full spectrum of filmmaking techniques that I'd done in all the previous episodes, from green screen compositing, to animations and effects. We launched this right before Christmas (hence the theme) which was our final push to raise the money. We did not. Oh well, it was such a fun project so who cares in the end! $5,000 would not have gotten us remotely close to what we really wanted to accomplish with the project anyway. Maybe some day we'll make it happen for real!
