Behind the Scenes
This video presented a new concept for me to learn: how to composite ourselves into a world we had to interact with. Usually we would just film ourselves either from the waist up or full body, inserting the subject on top of a ground or abstract background. For this, we were interacting with the scene, meaning we had to spin the wheel, or lean on a podium. So it sort of fell into a category of "augmented reality" compositing. Of course it doesn't actually look realistic but works in a Blues Clues kind of way. For editing, it was such a fun combo of animation with live action!
